Ready Electric was founded in Louisville, Kentucky 57 years ago. Since that time we have grown to become one of the largest professional electrical contractors in our part of the country, maintaining a workforce of between 165 - 180 employees.

We have maintained our place of business on Frankfort Avenue since our inception. Ready Electric Co. Inc is an employee owned company where all employees are dedicated to the best interests of the company. Our leadership has remained in the hands of the Windhorst family, beginning with Ollie, Sr., to the current president Andy Windhorst.

Ready Electric has, for over 20 years, been ranked in the Top 600 Specialty Contractors, by Engineering News Record Magazine. Our ranking this year is 575.
